We take privacy seriously, and try to make sure nobody’s identity is outed in our space.

Information we collect

We only ask for personal information when we truly need it. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used.

The information we keep includes:

  • Information you provided during the application process, including a photo of your face
  • Emails you send us
  • Attendance information
  • Mailing list tracking (clicks, opens)

We only retain this information for as long as you consent. What we do have we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

If you choose to withdraw consent, please notify us and we will delete all stored information, including attendance records and your application. Note if you choose to attend our events in the future, that means you will need to re-apply.

Third Parties

We use third party services as part of running our events. These services include:

  • Facebook – For our page and group
  • Discord – Login only
  • Messenger – If you DM our page
  • Instagram – Posts and DMs
  • MailPoet – Newsletter sending
  • SendGrid – Email sending
  • Stripe – Credit card payments you made
  • PayPal – Payments you made with PayPal
  • Venmo – Payments you made with Venmo
  • Jetpack – Backup and security scanning
  • Google – Email and login verification, previously forms

We do not operate any of these services. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.
